Military discount mysteriously stopped
Military discount stopped mysteriously about 2 months after I started with AT&T. I am now getting ready for pre-deployment underways and deployment and am going through every aspect of my life to make sure bills are correct. In doing so, I found that my military discount was no longer appearing on the bill and called AT&T to reinstate it(they didn't know why it disappeared from my account). I was told to upload documents to prove that I am in the military and can't reinstate without required documents (even though it was on my bill until it stopped). AT&T, please don't put it on customers to fix your mistake. If I didn't comfortable uploading my military documents, I had to take at least an hour out of my day to go to a store to show them. Tried calling the store I had opened an account at twice but no one answered. I am now considering of switching to another carrier.

Yes, a whole hour from driving 30 min each way with no traffic.

Had you uploaded the verification originally? If not, that's why the credits stopped. It's not an error, you just didn't complete the required steps.
If you had, then something else when wrong. File a BBB complaint to get escalated. That person might be able to help without you having to verify eligibility again. Be prepared, though, that reverification might be the only option.

I have done everything that was asked of me when I was in the store (where I opened the account and verification was done then and there). I got it resolved by sending AT&T a DM last night. 😊

Glad you got it taken care of. Scrambling for deployment at least one less thing to worry about.
(If you've got a family at home don't forgot that Power of Attorney so Spouse can take care of anything needed in the meantime)
