Stationed in japan

So I’m stationed in Iwakuni japan and I want my phone to work like normal (how it does in the states), how do I go about doing that? Just want to be able to wirelessly access the internet instead of having to be connected to WiFi to use my phone

Let's share what international packages we offer so you can stay connected while traveling, Ssharette

You can stay connected at home and abroad with AT&T. Use your phone like you do at home by adding the AT&T International Day Pass. Also, you can learn how to sign up for a Military appreciation offer if you haven't already applied and learn how to cancel or reactivate your military wireless service. These changes would need to made while inside the United States. You can contact our International Customer Service at 1.314.925.6925 for further assistance. We hope this information helps.

Do you need to use a local SIM or still use your US phone number?
