Submit Military ID online
I would like to sign up for the military discount online.
Question: can I submit just the front of the military ID card? Or, do I have to submit both sides?
I ask because there is personal information on the back of the card that I would rather not publish if I don't have to.
Thanks.

Hi @RTO,
Welcome to the community and we thank you for your service.
To ensure your application is processed properly, we recommend you send both sides of your ID but be sure to black out your SSN and other sensitive personal information.
We hope this helps and please reach back if you have further questions.

I am asking because it is all sensitive information.
The front of the Military ID card contains the:
1) veterans DoD ID Number
2) expiration date (indefinite on ours)
3) Service/Organization
4) Status/Grade
5) signature, printed name, and photo
The back of the card contains:
1) veteran's Date of Birth
2) Benefits Number
3) Date of Issue
4) medical/direct, medical/civilian information
5) a bar code, and a scan code
There is no SSN. That appears on the DD214, which we are not submitting as it contains even more confidential information.
EXACTLY what information do you need to see to verify service? I would think the front of the card is sufficient.

Sorry, thought you were active duty. The retiree ID card is still not a document accepted online. You must present that at an ATT corporate store. Here are the requirements for non active duty:
Online: Provide any one of the following forms of ID to sign up
AT&T stores: Provide any one of the following forms of ID to sign up
