Why do I still get an email asking me to show proof of employment for the military/veteran discount?

Since 1/16/21 I have been trying to get this corrected. I have been to three Att stores and brought my military Id and form DD214 for verification. I am still  receiving the email stating I need proof of employment. I'm getting fed up with this run around. I have called numerus times and no one knows how to correct this. I have been waiting on the phone for 60 minutes now and still no answer. I was given a different number for the veteran discount (866-482-4608). when you call this number (I have been calling since last week) you get a message that the office is closed to try another day...... If you don't want me to have this discount then put me back to my old plan and we will be done. You guys need to be on the same page. No one there knows what is going on.

Were any of them corporate stores? You need to present your documentation at a corporate store, not an authorized retailer. It should be easy to verify once the discount code has been added. Simply log into your account, your profile should show the discount. My profile shows “US Air Force Member”.

We appreciate your service to our country, @radtech20!

Let's try to turn this experience around for you. There are two ways which may help resolve your experience:

  • Active-duty personnel and veterans can enroll online.
    • Click the appropriate image (active military or Veteran) to bring up qualifications.
    • Next, click validate and then click, Yes, let's get started.
      • Active Military: Input their mi. email address.
      • Veterans: Upload their Vet Rewards card.
  • As @sandblaster suggested, make sure to visit your nearest AT&T corporate store (if you haven't already).

Either one of these actions should get you enrolled and set up for those additional savings while putting an end to those proof of employment email requests you've been receiving lately.

We hope this info helps!
