Were you able to verify the 911 address on your phone?

No actually I put in someone else’s address so it would work.

Sounds like you are in an area that is not in AT&T's locational database. Is your physical address a rural road, p.o. box, brand new division, etc?

That's why. UPS, FedEx, USPS are considerably better at updating their locational databases (they have to be) than the third party service that AT&T uses for the FCC E911 requirement. Besides, if you are outside of AT&T's cellular signal, it's difficult to use a tower to verify your location. You can always try to see if AT&T can manually submit your GPS coordinates for E911 but I don't know how that could be done because I doubt if any of the first and second line CS Agents would have a clue as to what you are talking about let alone how it could be done.

To register for WiFi-C just use the closest address to you like you did for your phone. You can always use the 10-digit Emergency phone number and put it in speed dial for emergencies at home instead of dialing 911. That will get you to the Emergency Dispatch Center and you can tell them your exact address if it doesn't pop up on their system. You can also do the same thing for the closest Fire Station or Emergency Services to you.

Hi there, we understand how important setting up E911 is, and we are here to help with getting this done.

You can also visit the United States Postal Service website and enter your address. There is a possibility that it isn't formatted in such a way that is valid for the E911 address.

You can follow the steps to set up E911 depending on the make and model of the device: Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling > Get Started

You can also visit our Device Support resource on our website for additional help in setting it up. Once you log in, select your phone's make and model, then navigate to Tutorials > Calling > Wi-Fi Calling for a step-by-step tutorial on the setup process.

Let us know if this information helped, and feel free to reach out to us if you have further questions.
