Apple Watch cellular setup

I continually get an error when trying to set up a new apple watch for my child - the error occurs when “adding new plan”. I’ve tried so many times and have been paying for tow extra lines for two watches and not getting anywhere - I spoke with tech support TWICE for several hours. What does error code is EDS0065 mean?

Review the set up

You need both family share and family set up.  Separate Apple IDs.  And you need to make sure that your phone line is not set up to number sync the watch with your phone.

If this is a brand new watch, and going through the steps does not work, contact Apple about replacing the watch.  

You can also try visiting at AT&T store or an Apple genius bar to get assistance. Make sure they understand that you're setting this up for your child and then it will be a standalone device not a companion device through number sync. If anyone gives you a blank look, walk away.
