Deceptive Promotion For Free Galaxy Watch 6 40mm

I upgraded my phone back at the end of December 2023 to the galaxy s23 ultra because it was supposed to come with a free galaxy watch 6 40mm smart watch. The s24 ultra was coming out I'm just a couple of weeks and that was the phone I was going to get, but because I saw this promotion online, I went to the at&t store to upgrade. Now they are charging me for the equipment not just the service, and when I called customer service they act like that promotion doesn't exist. They say that the promotion was for $175 off which means I would still owe $200, and that promotion wasn't even being applied. However, I would have never gotten the s23 ultra if I was gonna have to pay anything for the watch, I would have just waited for the s24 ultra! Instead I was duped into getting an older model phone and because I was supposed to save on the watch, I bought a new set of earbuds. So now I have to pay for it while they review just to even get the $175 off which isn't a fix to the situation. Now ive got to look for a different carrier because AT&T obviously doesn't care to take care of their customers that have never had a late bill, and who have been with them for multiple years. Oh and now they have the same promotion for the free 40mm watch 6 if you get the s24 ultra, but I wouldn't trust it because they'll just end up charging you anyways!

These promotions all work the same way and they are published on AT&T's website. You always have an installment on any device you purchase even if the device is listed as discounted or free with paid service.   If you didn't read information when you made your purchase, which was provided to you...

I have the same issue... I just called and they told me it doesn't exist but I have screenshots. I don't what happened but I don't want to pay for a watch if it wasn't included. They won't allow returns or refunds so I'm stuck. They had told me to go back to the store I had gotten it from because they might be able to find it but what the heck. Fix it and put me on the right promo then.

You should both check your bill to see if you are receiving bill credits against both the phone and the watch. They usually take 3 months to begin on your account. Since it is March 21st ... Bill credits may begin anytime between now and April 1st, assuming everything was correctly done back in December

You are always charged for installments on any device you purchase from AT&T even if it's free with bill credits.

Yeah. I had went to a corporate store and they had said the credits for the phone is there but not on the watch and I should call. But that didn't seem to help...
