ERROR EDS4018 and your support wait times are unacceptable

been trying for two days to get this resolved.  Two days ago your support tech said it was a communication issue between apple and ATT.  Now i get this error and cannot get any of you on the phone.

ERROR

oops!

you appear to have more than one plan for your watch.  Call 800.331.0500 and ask for 'apple watch htech support" and we'll figure it out. (EDS 4018)

Clearly this tech is not ready for prime time.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention @rgkeaney

That notification you're receiving is an Emerging Device Software alert which may be related to Back-end connectivity issue due to latency. These types of occurrences are monitored and fixed proactively.

Try resolving your experience by trying again after 4 hours. Additionally, it may help to power your devices off then back on before trying again (immediately) to enable cellular on your watch.

We hope this info helps.

Did they ever fix your issue with the EDS4018? I’m about ready to return the stupid thing and give up.

Yes, did they ever fix the issue, I am having the same problem.  Been back and forth to the store and over the phone and no one can fix it.  I am wondering if I can return them, because it's not looking good.

Yes they did but someone In tech support had to make an effort. It had to do with multiple watches being associated with my account even though it was just one.

I don’t remember.  That was a very long time ago.
