Gizmo

Has there been any update on the Gizmo watches working with AT&T. Thinking about switching from Verizon to AT&T but don’t want to unless it will work with Gizmo.

Thanks!

No.

Ever since LG went under, Verizon is using their own private manufacturer. The gizmo 2 watch will not work on AT&T.

Because of the way the gizmo watch works, you could leave the watch on Verizon's $10 standalone watch plan and move all your phones over to AT&T if that's what you really want.  The companion app does not require the watch and the phone be on the same network or same account

Or there are other watches for kids that will work on AT&T. Some of them are even more reliable than the Gizmo 2

I believe there are a couple of others but you have to subscribe through them in order to get the watch free or discounted. The watch is still running on AT&T service through the manufacturer.

And an Apple watch, you just need an iPhone to set it up as a standalone device with family setup
