Has anyone successfully activated a LTE Galaxy watch with an Iphone?
Samsung claims it is easy to do but, I followed their directions and get stuck at adding the mobile network inside the wearable app. I get "The AT&T network isn't supported on your watch. You'll be notified to update your watch software when support becomes available." The sales man at the store gave me the activation card and said it will connect to my iPhone X. I contacted AT&T and they said it is not possible. Now i have been on support with AT&T and been told things like this in the past because it was what the script told them to say. Has anyone had any luck doing this?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm: Updated to latest OS version.
iPhone X: Updated to latest OS version.

Hi, @SOUNDAROUNDYOU,
We'd love to help with this. You should be able to pair a Galaxy watch with your iPhone X. As they both have a different OS, you won't be able to use all of the features of the Galaxy watch. Follow these steps:

I never asked how to pair a watch. I am trying to find out how to setup the watch on LTE. I should be able to use this watch to talk over the cell service and not have my phone with me.

Part of the problem is iOS when setting up the watch. The app does not work like it does on android. I set my watch up with a note 9 then used it some on iOS but it still does not work that good on iOS compared to android. I will stick with a Samsung watch on my note 9 when I use it and my Apple watch when using my iPhone xs max.

Yes I have an iPhone and I have the Galaxy Watch LTE stand alone. It’s a slightly lengthy process but is fairly simple providing you follow the steps precisely.
You need a Samsung device that has service through ATT to activate the Cell network on the watch. Make sure to full reset the watch wipe it clean Because you have to start all over
1. Remove the sim from your iPhone phone
2. Put that SIM card you just took out of your iPhone and put it into An ATT connected Samsung Smartphone.
3. Download the galaxy watch app on to the Samsung Smart Phone you put your SIM card in.
4. Open app and have the watch handy plus the eSIM card because the app will prompt you to scan the QR code with the Samsung Smartphone that has your iPhone SIM card in during setup
5. Follow the instructions in the app.
6. Once set up is complete then take YOUR SIM card out of Samsung Smart phone and re-insert it back into your iPhone and download the Galaxy watch app on to you iPhone.
7. Unpair the watch from the Samsung Smartphone you used and pair it to your iPhone.
No one could help me not ATT not Samsung. I found a forum on T-Mobiles website that had these steps listed from someone with this issue.
My Galaxy Watch works as it’s own phone and does everything a LTE stand-alone wearable should do.
Hope this helps

Guess I'm out of luck...I do have a Samsung A53 I could use to accomplish this and my Galaxy Watch 3 is already connected to my iPhone, but my problem is that my iPhone is a 14 Plus which means no physical SIM card that I can move to A53 and back.
Any other workarounds doable?
TIA,

Hi @mmalzkuhn, we're here to help you with your question.
We want to know if you have a separate line for Samsung watch, if yes then you will be able to use it accordingly. You will not able to connect all 3 devices together, however you have an option of number sync.
Please check the link for more details for number sync.

My Samsung phone does not have a line or a SIM card. I would like to just have the iPhone and the Galaxy Watch 3 LTE activated but as I cannot switch SIMs, I don’t see how that’s possible
