How do I obtain a QR code to setup an eSim for my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic?
Looking for assistance in getting a QR code to set up my Samsung.Gaalxy Watch with a smartwatch line I added to my family plan. ATT store wasn't able to get my watch set up but also did not mention option to enter an access code or scan a QR code. Does this route to install an eSim still exist?

You have to have a North American version of the watch. SmartWatches are region locked so an international version will not work
The ESIM should be activated during the pairing and activation process through your phone.

Postpaid services required. If you are prepaid, you'll have to talk to AT&T about switching your phone to postpaid service

Samsung watches don't work great as standalone, but it is possible. I just have not done it.
You might find some articles elsewhere describing how to set up a Samsung watch as a standalone.
You indicated in your first post they added a line for the watch. But the watch line should be added during setup. So that doesn't seem right.

Are you aware of any method to get the esim through QR code? The samsung wearable app has Mobile Plans which leads me to scan QR code or enter activation code.

If you've read that the documentation, the code should be appearing on the phone that you are pairing with the watch.
No?

No, the watch doesn't get information during the phone pairing. I was trying to have the watch on its own line/plan and avoid using numbersync. Trying to download the esim from the device page does not send a notification to the watch, so that avenue does not work. I guess I'll have to review getting a smartwatch data plan at a later date and cancel this line of service for the time being.
I do appreciate your time and help!
