I HAVE FOUND A SOLUTION TO NUMBERSYNC NOT AVAILABLE WITH GALAXY WATCH AND GALAXY PHONE.

Hello All!! 

As I once was a victim of NumberSync not available.. I found a solution that works for me! This should work for all of you with the same issue. Here is what I did, and let me tell you... I TRIED EVERYTHING. 

 

I will be very brief. My issue was my Galaxy 42mm watch and my Note9. Originally, new out of the box everything was well and worked perfect, then i started having issues with the watch itself, so i factory reset it.. Well i lost my QR code to reactivate to the LTE Network. So I went to an ATT store and got a new one. Cool! Got my watch back onlline to LTE (standalone or bluetooth paired only)... Which means I can still use the watch to text and call.. But i can only use it with the eSIM # it has. Not my phone number.. However after I got the watch back online, the next step is to do NumberSync.. Well i tried for days and called tech support and got a ticket, etc. Nothing...

 

So I had an idea.. Something i stumbled upon while looking at my online account info. Here was my fix!

 

I went to :

My Wireless

*Clicked on watch*

Manage Device

SUSPEND SERVICE 

Confirm Yes

Log out

--------------------------------------------------------

 

I waited half an hour then: 

(On Watch)

Settings

General

Reset  - Also reset network settings - confirmed I would contact att to set up network again

Finished factory reset

Waited till watch was ready to restart and begin set up, but not yet.

I waited another half hour then:

Logged in to MyAtt

My Wireless

Click watch

REACTIVATE

Confirm yes

Log Out

 

----------------------------------------------------------------

Power watch back on and go through phone-watch setup as normal.  (YOU MUST HAVE YOUR QR CODE TO ACTIVATE WATCH TO LTE. THIS WONT WORK IF YOU DONT)

Use QR code to set up service

Finish out normal set up.

Stop, wait half hour

Log into att.com and make sure it all looks good. 

Go to watch and begin number sync

Carry out normal operations and your watch should get its sync code and do the online process and FIXED!

IF THIS HELPS PLEASE LIKE! ALSO, WHEN I SAY I WAIT A HALF HOUR, ITS FOR THE NETWORK TO UPDATE THE SETTINGS YOUVE CHANGED. THIS WONT WORK IF YOU DO ALL STEPS IN 5 MINUTES. LET IT TAKE THE TIME TO UPDATE!
