Lies

Every time I have to add or purchase anything with AT&T I have issues.  In store all you get is lies.  Call customer service to solve something… good luck!  You will get hung up on a dozen times and transfered to a recording over snd over before snything can be solved if ever.  Scam!  Total scam of a company and employees are just as bad.  They say what ever they have to in order to make a sell. Then they lie about lying.  Worst company I have ever dealt with by far.  Reading about the watch promotion buy one get one free complaints from other customers is exactly what happened to me.  It was all a disaster and one lie after another.  AT&T is a dishonest disgusting company.  I only hope one day the company comes crashing down and they get what they deserve.  Please go with another company.  You will get scammed one way or another!

The watch promo is published online for anyone to read.

The published promotion is exactly what everyone got. They just didn't read the promotion and didn't understand that they had to pay for service. Just like phone promotions. You don't get a free phone, or a free watch, or free tablet, unless you pay for service

And just like the phone deals that are advertised there is a maximum amount of credit that is provided on the second watch.

If you read the deals beforehand, or read the paperwork or tablet when you sign up, it's really hard to be lied to because you already know how it works.

Hello @Smmaffey, thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums. We'll be happy to help you.

We understand where you are coming from, and we understand how distressing it must be not getting more clarity on the promotion and how it works.

Please know that you'll be able to enjoy up to $300 off when you get 2 Apple watches, and up to $350 off when you get 2 Samsung Galaxy Watches.

1. Purchase any two Apple or Galaxy Watches on an installment plan.
2. Add at least one new line and activate both watches on your wireless plan.
3. Get up to $300 or $350 in bill credits over the next 36 months.

Important notes:

  • Account must have and maintain at least one (1) smartphone line to be eligible for wearable line(s).
  • Credits start within 3 bills and will be applied in equal amounts over the term of installment agreement. You will receive catch-up credits once bill credits start. Credit will not exceed the lower of the device cost or the max credit amount as defined above.
  • If you cancel wireless service, your credits will end and you’ll owe the remaining balance on the installment agreement for the device(s) purchased.
  • For new lines, if you cancel service on any other line on your account within 90 days of activating the line under this offer, device credits will stop.

You can find more details on the Apple and Samsung Galaxy Watches here.

We hope this information helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us here.
