Ordering Apple Watch

My fiancé placed an order on the app for me a new apple watch- Order went through "good news, we got your order....etc" now it's saying to upload an ID within 24hrs, so My fiancé uploaded his ID, (because we used his card) but it's still saying the order is on hold! Once i go back to try to upload it again. it says "error, verification completed". Im not sure what the problem is and i don't know what to do from here.

Which Apple watch? Actually it's a lot easier to order an AppleWatch directly from Apple than AT&T. Keep in mind that if you ordered the cellular version, AT&T will automatically create another line for the watch and possibly charge you an activation fee. The cost of the "extra line", which is a phone number typically used for billing purposes (unless you purchased a standalone watch) and will cost you $10 per month, plus taxes. AT&T does this because they are a cellular company and sells products for cellular use.

That's the latest version and it comes as GPS only or what's called "freebird", which is the cellular version. I assume you already have an AT&T account. In which case the watch will be "tied" to your cellular number so you can make receive calls with or without your iPhone close by. As I said, that will cost you or whoever owns the account $10 per month, plus taxes. I have a GPS version only of the AppleWatch so I can make/receive calls and messages as long as I'm within range of my iPhone and am on the same WiFi network. There is no additional cost for that.

AT&T will ship as soon as inventory is filled, which, depending on supply and demand could be quick, or not. You might want to give it a day if you don't get an update from AT&T and if not, contact them. No one here can tell you what is wrong with your order or if it is just a glitch in the system. This is a public, customer to customer forum only so no one has access to your account information or order status.

Hey there! We understand you're anxious about the status of your order, and we are here to provide the information you need

Let's get you some clarity. The ID verification part is a part of the process, nothing out of the ordinary. Since you've already submitted the documents for verification, all you need to do now is sit tight, as it takes 24-48 hours for the verification to be complete after the submission.

Hope we were able to put your mind at ease. Do let us know if you need further assistance.
