Samsung s23ultra ,Samsung 5 pro watch

Why does my Samsung 23 ultra,  and Samsung pro 5 only work when within close vicinity of each other. I pay for service on both devices and number sync is activated and says it is connected.  But if I leave my cell phone on the desk and go for a walk more than 50 feet away I get a "phone disconnected" notification.  It seems as if it only connects via Bluetooth. 

That also being said, the phone number of my watch will not go through to my cell phone and goes straight to voice-mail.

My spouse has the same devices and is also experiencing this.

Check the network coverage in your area by using the AT&T Network Coverage Map.

 Here are some possible reasons and steps to address the problem:

     1.
Bluetooth Connection: Please ensure that both devices are set up to use cellular or Wi-Fi for   connectivity. You can find these settings in the device's connection or network settings.

  1. Cellular Signal Strength: Check the signal strength of your cellular.

  2. Wi-Fi Connectivity (If Applicable): Make sure that both your phone and watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. Update Firmware/Software: Ensure that both devices have the lates software updates installed, as these updates can sometimes address connectivity and compatibility issues.
