AT&T COR DF charge
may 10, 2023 $48 COR DF charge to my bank account
December 18th, 2023 $879.79 COR DF - my wifes new phone from AT&T.com
this upcoming Friday there's another $880 COR DF charge coming out of my bank account. i didn't buy anything from at&t, i paid for the wifes phone in full with trade in, i cannot get anywhere with customer service due to not having an account. neither one of our parents see anything in their accounts about this charge.

It sounds like this is your wife's account? If you're not on the account then your wife should be managing it and she should be the one contacting AT&T to find out what the charges are for.
If neither of those charges appear on your AT&T account, they are probably not charges related to you. In which case AT&T cannot help you. You have to deal directly with your bank or credit card company.
It would be more likely someone scanned or skimmed your credit card or debit card and used it to make a purchase.

There is no such thing as" paying for the phone in full with trade-in"
That's not a thing.
When you do a trade-in, your trade-in has a face value which is far less than the trade-in value, which requires a 36-month commitment in order for you to collect all the bill credits.
