ATT email support contact info

After multiple failed attempts dealing with ATT call in support, is there an email address to get someone to actual own an issue and get it resolved? I am being charged a monthly fee for a device that is no longer used and hasn't been for a year.

No.

If you've tried normal support channels and haven't gotten anywhere, try an FCC or BBB online complaint form.  You should get a call from AT&T's support escalation group within a day or 3.  It will likely not ID as an AT&T number so don't screen your calls too tightly.

Just not using a device doesn't automatically remove charges, so you did request that service be canceled?

What is the charge for? Service that you canceled for that device, an installment plan, something else?

@Juniper  Yes, it was requested to be cancelled. It's a monthly charge for the cell phone.

LOL, Just called AT&T. My online shows CTN is Suspended and on their end it shows it still active.

If you've been calling to cancel the phone line (service, not the phone itself) over that year, then go with the BBB complaint.

However if it is an installment plan for the device (so the physical phone), then canceling the line means you pay the remaining balance minus any remaining credits (as those are forfeited for not finishing out as installments).

Suspended is not the same thing as cancelled.  Suspended is "it won't work, but we're still going to bill for it."  You can ask for suspension, or they can suspend a line for non-payment.

When you call 611 from another mobile phone on your AT&T account, You get the automated phone tree which asks you which department you want to go to like billing etc. This is when you use the keyword cancel service. This automatically transfers you to the loyalty department.

You then provide the loyalty department with the phone number you wish to cancel. Be very careful that you are not canceling the wrong number.

It is their job to try to talk you out of it. Just say no, please cancel the phone number and repeat the phone number you wish to have canceled in full.

Once the phone number is successfully canceled, you will get an email which will indicate service on that phone line will terminate at the end of your current billing cycle.

If you don't get the email, it didn't get done
