bill after cancellation

is anyone still getting billed after cancellation , i cancelled in august of 2016 and still being charged i payed for the service that was used returned the equipment and everything. plus when i called the AT&T supervisor said it would be taken care of but yet still being charged . HELP!

You are billed until the end of the cycle, not the day you cancel. If you cancel your service 5 days into the billing cycle the cancellation is not effective until 25 days after you request cancellation. It's written in the terms and conditions. Final bill is not prorated. In fact, no carrier prorates the final bill. 

 

Now if you're still being billed after that cycle, then there is an active line on that account somewhere. Did any of the phones have remaining installments plans or ETF due to contract? Were all lines fully cancelled?
