Denied Service

I have never had a phone service under my name. I’ve had 3 jobs. Right now I work at Walmart 14 dollars an hour been there a month. My credit score is 7200 basically and I’m 19 years old. I only have one credit card and was denied service without explanation by the fraud people. Why was I denied service?

Were you asked a series of weird questions about where you lived, attended school, etc. by the credit evaluators? One of your answers may not have matched what they were expecting.  Some of those questions are trick questions and you need to answer "none of the above."

Oh, no... they absolutely HAVE to tell you why you're denied credit.

In addition to a FICO score, AT&T uses an “internal credit score”….at least that’s what other customers have reported.  Unfortunately, AT&T has not been forthcoming about how they determine credit worthiness outside of the regular channels.

Was it your age?  Was it your salary?  Was it your limited credit experience?

ETA:  Good find @JefferMC    Apparently these “internal scores” are referred to as a “judgemental system”.   But yes, one can request an explanation even though it might be generic.

Please reach out to Global Fraud Management at 877.844.5584 to find out why your application was denied.
