family plan, member stopped payment

Not sure what to do from here, I have a family plan in good standing where a family member recently stopped paying his line.  I cant afford his payments along with my own and will end up losing my total account and service if this doesn't get sorted.  I attempted a transferral of service just for his line to him but he refused and basically told me he's never going to pay for his phone again.  What are my options?

Cancel his line.

You need to get the physical hardware back from him. Get the phone in your possession. Sell it and whatever proceeds you make use that to pay off the device/terminate that line.

If he won't return the phone you'll have to involve whatever legal avenues available. Small claims court, etc.

@David606 We don't know if anything is owed on the phone. For all we know, the family member paid for it and owns it so getting it back may not be an option.

You can blacklist his phone (report it stolen) so he can't use it, and yes, suspend his line.

You can remove the blacklist and sell the phone is he returns it.

@ctsiphoneowner Is there still an obligation to complete for that line (contract or phone payments)?
