Getting account emails for a different account
For the past few months I've been getting monthly account emails (e.g. bill pay reminders, some marketing emails, etc.) for a totally different account that is not my account. It has a different number, different name, different plan, etc. Most notably the emails are in Spanish whereas my account is in English. The email address they are sent from seems to be a legitimate AT&T email address and they are sent to my email address, which is the same one my AT&T account is under. It almost seems like something is messed up in an AT&T account database or something, as my email address is fairly unique/unusual and it is highly unlikely that someone put it down as a typo. I've emailed and called AT&T support several times and they're always baffled and unable to help because they (obviously) cannot tell me details about this other person's account. I've tried emailing a few corporate email addresses for security/cybersecurity issues and never gotten a response. I feel like this needs the attention of a somewhat high level software engineer within AT&T and the frontline support people are unable/unwilling to make that connection for me. I'm at a loss of what to do, just hoping that someone with the ability to help actually sees this.

There's really nothing AT&T can do. You wouldn't want so random person calling in making changes to your account, would you? Just ignore them. If you're like me, there's enough other junk mail and one more email wouldn't make a difference.

I have to agree with @MicCheck
There's a customer out there somewhere that didn't put their email address in correctly.
Maybe is wondering why they're not getting any emails and hasn't checked their account to see that it's misspelled.
It's on them to fix it.
