Goodbye AT&T

After 15 years, from AT&T Wireless Service to Cingular to AT&T Mobility, I've finally moved on. There were ups and downs along the way, but who doesn't have these? But it really got frustrating when I got my teen daughter international service for her trip to China and she couldn't get connected. And it wasn't cheap, and more because we didn't get anything for it except stress and worry. And we even got hit with overage when she was on her way there but not yet outside the U.S. And then we just kept on getting hit with overage after overage, and I had to pay and pay, month after month. We would be warned but it's hard to track with my family all over the place. I had no chance and I felt AT&T didn't care as long as I paid. I dropped clues that I was thinking of switching but I got passed along from one person to the next. I guess sticking it out with AT&T is pretty meaningless. The only "Thank you" I get is when I pay, says so right on the bill: "Payment - MM/YY - Thank You!" No, AT&T, thank you. And goodbye.

Hello @ianjosef

We're very sorry to see you go. It probably won't help at this point, but what were the overages for? International stuff or data plan?

Please let us know if there is anything that we can help you with.

Thanks,

Dmitriy

I'm sure you are. So much history--gone. No, it doesn't help, especially when it's done already. Overages were for data. Your international stuff is non-existent but costs a pretty penny, which is wrong. I don't think you can do anymore. I've switched and so far everything is good on my end. But for you, you should re-think how you treat your loyal costumers, or they won't be customers for long. Hopefully, this helps somebody in some way. Goodbye!

P.S. When I log on, your site says my account has been canceled. I also removed automatic pay. Aside from the final bill, will you be sending me a document that says I've officially closed my service?
