How long does it take to get service back

@mariamarpossa If you went to an Authorized AT&T Retail Store they probably just said that to try and sell you Internet Air. If that's the case, those stores are not owned or operated by AT&T nor are they staffed by AT&T employees. Their sole purpose is to sell AT&T goods and services and to do that some of the stores will purposely mislead or give the customer incorrect information. 

Retail Stores look exactly like Corporate Stores so you need to ask when you go inside. Retail Stores are the same thing as the kiosks you see in places like Target, Costco, Sam's Club, BB, etc.

As far as your current service being down, stores are not going to know when service will be restored. It all depends on why service is down, how bad it is in your area, and how many techs AT&T has available to work on it. If it's weather-related, it could be awhile.

Not sure why your service went out, or what your previous net was.  You previous internet was from another company, store people have no power to restore that.
