Liars in the store in Los Angeles California - lied about the promotion of 2 iPhones for verse

I am dealing with liars in a local store and nobody is helping. Since March I have been paying for 2 iPhones when it was only supposed to be 1 iPhone. They made get UVERSE TV for this promotion and have been non-stop lying to me since then. The manager and the employee. I even have texts with the employee proving my point. I don't know who else to escalate this to. Can anybody help ?

Are you talking about a buy one get one free promotion? If so, you are supposed to be charged for both phones but you should also get a credit for the “free” phone. If you are not getting the credit, you probably did not qualify for the promotion because all of the credits are applied by the billing computer if the promotion qualifications are satisfied. Did you open a new line? That was probably the other requirement besides UVerse TV. Anyway, if you are sure you qualify for the promotion, file an FCC complaint.

Here is what they are saying. Mind you I have texted with the ATT associate him telling me everything is right and my promotion applies. He told me his had escalated the issue to his manager, when I went to the store the manager said he never heard of this issue before. SHADY.

1) 1 Iphone X (bought) Free Iphone 8 with ATT UVerse Package

2) I got this deal

3) The associate then asked who the phone was for I said my wife but shes not on my plan, he said I can switch it since her plan had unlimited data. Her plan has her mother's address.

4) The manager is saying promotion is voided because the address doesn't match the UVERSE address. I never knew this would void it or else I would never do it and the associate never told me!!!!

He has and still says it will be handled. Now the manager wants to ambush me tomorrow at the store with the associate.

The manager is absolutely correct. In order to get the free phone, the address on the UVerse account must match the address on the wireless account. That is the only way the billing computer knows to provide monthly credits for the free phone. By putting that phone on your mother in law's account, you fail to meet that requirement. Yes, the associate should have known that. I'm not even sure if they can do it but the only fix I can think of is to move your wife's line to your plan.
