If I pay off balance owed will I lose my 25$ deduction What is the deduction for anyway. I forgot.

I think you are talking about the $25 discount on your line fee for not being on a contract. If so, you will not lose that by paying off your phone. In fact, now that ATT no longer does contracts, you will never lose it.
