Pre-order backordered iPhone 6, 3-4 weeks before eligibility date in October?
I'm already disappointed that AT&T will not move my eligibility date to 9/19 from 10/8.
With shipments of the iPhone 6 plus being pushed back 3-4 weeks. Can I pre-order now, so by the time the iPhone is shipped I will get my early partial upgrade price?

I understand your excitement, I'm waiting for an October upgrade date myself, unfortunately, in order to get the full upgrade pricing, your line needs to be eligible when you order/purchase the phone.

Why the change? Historically the last 7 years I was able to upgrade with AT&T pushing up my eligibility just as long as it was within a month. Why the change?
