Unwanted Temporary Pin text messages
For nearly 2 weeks now I've been receiving texts telling me of a temporary pin. These text messages say they are coming from AT&T.
The typical advice is to change your password. Did that Friday. Have received 3 texts since then. Changing my password IS NOT THE ANSWER.
What is AT&T doing to secure our accounts and information?

Found the culprit of the unwanted texts. My phone has the AT&T protect application. It was this application that was asking for the texts to be sent. It wasn't even running on my phone and it was somehow communicating with AT&T and sending these text messages.
@AT&T, this is just wrong. Word the texts so users will know if an application installed on their mobile device is the source of the texts.
