What is the best way to file a complaint against an ATT store employee?

Looking for info on the best way to file a complaint against an ATT store employee who lied to me multiple times about the specifications of the plan he was selling my small business account. I suspected he was lying to me, and confirmed my suspicions when speaking to a manager on a subsequent visit.

I informed the manager, who didn't appear to care other than to worry about what survey score I was going to give him after I asked him to correct the plan to what we asked for. "Just please don't hammer me for what he did to you."

All you can do is complain to the manager or file a BBB complaint against the store. If it was an Authorized AT&T Retail Store they are not owned or operated by AT&T and they are not staffed with AT&T employees. Unfortunately AT&T has little to no control over them. It's not uncommon for a Retail Store or Outlet (kiosks in Target, Costco, etc) to leave out important information just to make a sale.

How to file a complaint against a AT&T store in Issaquah, Seattle. The Manager and emplyees literally doing fraud with customers by promising discounts while selling iphone and stating that it will be credited by third billing cycle which never happens. When you call them they say that they dont know who you are what you talking about.

Is the store a retail store or a corporate store? What did your receipt indicate?

I have visited the AT&T store in Oneonta, NY multiple times. Unfortunately, the associate I have dealt with has not been helpful in addressing my phone issues or my daughter's phone. Instead, he seems more interested in selling me a new phone, possibly for a commission. He has referred me to other repair shops in the mall, but they have not been able to assist me because it's an AT&T issue. Today, I called customer service and was told to go to the store for help. However, the associate again told me he could not assist me and directed me to the company's website. Frustrated, I informed him that I had already tried that approach and customer service had sent me to the store for assistance. I will be considering alternative companies when my contract expires.

I don't know his name but I was there June 4, 2024 at approximately 11:30am

Yes, AT&T stores are for sales, not support. What issue are you having that the rep from AT&T is sending you for repairs while the repair stores are telling you it's an AT&T issue?

If they are only for sales then why would AT&T customer service send me to the store for the help that I needed. Customer service rep said that they can help with the issue which had to do with my daughter's phone because it needed to be unlocked and doing online wasn't an option because she canceled her account back in December and they couldn't find her information. So after the 30 minute drive thinking he would help was a different story. It's very frustrating to be sent to the store only to be sent away. The associate always seems to have an attitude as I have watched him interact with others and they walk out frustrated as well.

The people at the store don’t have the capability to unlock phones.  The CS rep on the phone was wrong and probably just trying to get you off the phone.  File a BBB or FCC complaint to get the issue escalated to upper management, who will contact you.

If your daughter has canceled her account, AT&T doesn't need to find any information. She completes the unlock request as a non-customer.

Im looking for the same information but it's from a corporate store. They talked me into buying a att charger because of a 1 year warranty. The charger didn't work for 3 weeks and they didn't have the exact charger but told me to check back. I've checked back and it's been a whole month. They refuse to give me a credit or my money back since they won't honor the warranty.  Who can I call I've tried every number for Att customer service
