3rd bgw 320 ethernet ports not working g

I'm now on my 3rd bgw 320, and my ethernet ports are still not working. Wifi connects, no activity on any port that I plug into. Logging in to gateway and running diagnostic shows ethernet failed. Have not changed any settings on gateways. Have factory reset and still no luck. Have connected directly to it support through customer service still can't fix it. Any help?

Are you using house wired Ethernet connections via wall-plates or just short Ethernet jumper cables to test your Ethernet ports directly to a nearby computer?

It could be a wiring issue at your wall-plates.

I'm using patch cables. Ha ent wired my house yet. But I've tested all my cables and all cables are passing.

If it has failed on 3 units, I doubt it is the unit.

What is the cable you are using? How are you testing it? It is Cat5e? Cat6?

What cable is used? What is it connecting to? What lights are seen on the unit when plugging in?

Photos?

I work in low voltage field. I've tested cat 6 with my tester and all patches pass. No activity lights on ports when connecting cables. Original gateway was working fine one night, then all of a sudden dropped network from ethernet port. Noticed lights were off on ports. Tried changing cables, nothing. Logged into router, ran full diagnostic test, ethernet comes up failed. Wifi still works.

Wow! So internals of these units is usually just an unmanaged switch to a single Ethernet PHY internally. Is the LAN port active? Weird. If it affects 3 units it seems like some configuration (or wrong firmware?) is disabling the switch.

Anything enlightening in the boot logs?

Nothing abnormal that I can find nor that att IT support can find. I have finally convinced them to send a tech out so we shall see. Only variable I can think of is that there was a service tech installing fiber at my neighbors but that was down the line from me so honestly shouldn't affect me but seeing as I get signal to the gateway, and can run wifi, that shouldn't be anything to affect me
