ATT and Asus ip passthrough disconnects everyday

So I cannot tolerate this anymore. I have put my bgw320 into ip passthrough to my asus mini xd4 with a node at the second floor since I wanted a mesh wifi system. But everyday for the past two months it disconnect close to midnight. Not just once but multiple times. Is there anyway to fix this? Is this an asus issue or the bgw320 modem issue?

We understand your concern with regard to IP passthrough. Let's get the help you needed.

First, let's double-check that your IP passthrough configuration is correct. Set up the BGW320 in IP Passthrough mode to your ASUS router as desired.

When it disconnects, we recommend that you use our Troubleshoot and resolve tool, which allows you to sign in for faster troubleshooting and diagnostics.

I have configured the IP pass through and followed every steps including turning off my wifi on the modem. However, constant disconnect of wifi occurs on my mesh wifi. It is not Asus but att itself that disconnects the wifi to the ip passthrough

I am confused as to how AT&T be disconnecting Wi-Fi on your ASUS Router? You have turned off Wi-Fi on your BGW320.

Check this BGW320 link and let us know what you have set for your Passthrough DHCP lease time set to:

I have the DHCP lease set to 10 minutes. Sorry for the late response. Still having the same issue. I have confirmed to have turned off the wifi on the bgw320 but wifi still keeps disconnecting every 6-8 hours or so

Change the Passthrough DHCP lease time to 4 hours. Ten (10) minutes is the default and quite short for some third party routers as they start the renewal process at 1/2 the lease time.
