ATT router with Google Nest not working

I’ve had to reset my nest due to an outage and, of course, it didn’t connect with my router. I researched the forum for directions and completed the IP pass through but the directions from a year ago are not an exact match. So here’s what I did:

reset the gateway

http://192.168.1.254

firewall -access code - IP passthrough -

allocation mode (passthrough)

pass through mode (fixed)

device list (computer Mac address)

pass through DHCP lease (30m)

Save

restart broadband, 2.4ghz and 5ghz (just in case)

reboot computer

nest STILL will not connect. Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Barely Techie

Thank you for the response. I don't believe this is an account specific issue. From what I’ve read in this community, this is a common issue for google nest users who are also ATT subscribers.

i’d be very interested in the community’s recommendation.

thanks again.

@Smarypop

You using Google nest WiFi product?  Verify the WAN IP is visible to your router using it's management UI.  Reboot both ends to check connectivity.  WiFi of the gateway serves no purpose and should be shut off if using a personal WiFi system.
