BGW320-500 Frequently turns red multiple times.

Hello,

I have just set up my Router last saturday and it was working fine on saturday but the next day and today it frequently turns red multiple times. I can reset it and it works fine but the issue is it will turn red again after a few moments. This is very frustrating, as I don't want to have to need to restart my router all the time. I will be working from home and I dont want to be interrupted all of a sudden in a meeting because all I need to do is "reset" the router and it will be okay. I dont think it needs to be resetting multiple times in a day.

Was this a self install? You need to call 1-800-288-2020 as this is not normal. For example it has been over 200 days since my BGW320 was restarted and I restarted it as I was organizing the cables nearby and I wanted to move it out of the way as I worked.

Details on the Service LED Flashing Red:

Fast Blink—approximately 2-3 blinks per second - There is a network service issue which may require AT&T intervention. This may be a momentary problem; please see if there is a service outage in your area using Smart Home Manager (SHM) app or myAT&T on a mobile device. Try rebooting your Gateway.

Slow Blink –approximately 1 blink every 2 seconds - Your Gateway does not have a broadband connection. Please check for a loose, disconnected, or damaged cable, and then press and hold the Red reset button for less than 10 seconds.
