Constantly losing internet while connected to Gateway

I want to begin by saying we have had no problems since signing on with ATT over 6 months ago and the services far exceeded our expectations. But like they say, all good things must come to an end and about 2 weeks ago, the honeymoon ended. That was about the time when our smartphones and tablets (ONLY) began losing internet connectivity several times throughout the day. This was also happening although we remained connected to the gateway. The only solution we could find was to disconnect and reconnect (turn off the wireless and then turn it back on). This worked for anywhere between a few minutes to an hour or two. We have the same devices since the beginning with the exception of one additional smart home device. We have also reset the router and gone through the troubleshooting guide several times with no improvement. I also see others with the same or similar issue and some have suggested disabling IPV6 and others cited problems with the BGW210 and I don't know what to do....

Just finished chatting with tech support and was advised there is a "software issue" with the modem and that a "newer and better" one would be arriving in 1-2 business days. I am hoping that this just may rekindle our relationship though cautiously optimistic.

We are having the same problem with our internet and wireless devices. Guess a call to tech support is required. The modem we have is Motorola NVG 510.

By the way, they replaced mine with a Pace 5268C.

The 5268AC gateway has an issue with their current firmwas 11.1.  You should downgrade the firmware to 10.5; otherwise, your Internet speeds are going to be locked down at 50Mbps if you are in passthrough mode.  That's the model router I had before, and they replaced mine with a BGW210-700 to address the firmware issue.  I've had my ATT Gigabit Internet for about a week now, and the router restarted on its own today, granted it did rain today - not sure if that had anything to do with the reboot.  Doesn't indicate that there was a firmware being pushed out, or anything...it just restarted while I was playing a game.  I'm hoping someone will direct me somewhere that can tell me how to prevent it from randomly restarting.
