Fiber with Deco - Reverting to Gateway Help?

Hello,

When I first got Fiber, I read some recommendation to set up the Gateway as passthrough and set up a Deco mesh that handles the Wi-Fi network. I do not have Uverse or anything else.

I've had frequent but very short drops in connectivity for a while and am now thinking perhaps it would be easiest to just let the Gateway handle this and use the Deco mesh as simple repeater access points. Does this sound like a reasonable plan?

Can anyone assist with getting my settings back into place? Ideally I could keep all the same network names etc that have been created on the Deco to continue device connectivity.

I have BWG320-505 and Deco X20s

Thank you!

I see the X20 can run in access point mode, so you’ll want that.  On the gateway side you can just factory reset it.  Turn off the radios in the gateway.  The base unit of the X20 needs to be Ethernet connected to one of the yellow ports.
