Option to not reboot BGW320 everytime there's power interruption ?

I was away for a week ( probably a power interruption occurred in my house). All security cameras did not work EVEN after checking there's no power outage in my area. After coming back home I checked the BGW320 and white light was on but still cameras not working so I rebooted the BGW320 anyway by turning it off and on after 20 secs . All house devices started working. I had comcast before and when power interruption comes back all devices works after. This is not acceptable specially when I'm not home and can't reboot the AT&T BGW320 where I was. BTW it happened again after 3 secs power outage , this time I was home and waited 20 minutes for it to work but did not , so rebooted it again. Is there a remedy for this ?

I'm changing my home alarms and I don't want these problems again. I did look for battery back up but not sure which is a good one. Thank you for your help !

Minuteman, APC are a couple of name brands, there's others. Most have a website to tell you how to get one to fit your needs and it will depend on what all you plug into it. I have a 900 ma APC back up for my router and PC, If I had just the router plugged into it, it would last for several hours, with the PC plugged in if power isn't restored in 30min I shut down and power down the PC, still have router up and running. I have a separate 500ma UPS on my ONT which is remote from the router.

This is the solution designed for the unit. Not all battery backup units (BBUs) work the same. Many are not designed for the power draw characteristics of the gateways (I think it is low drain for long time) and AT&T-recommended devices are tested for that.

This is done by use of a DC-out BBU instead of the traditional AC BBU's used for most devices.
