Other dos attack

Att equipment:BGW320-505

Streaming device: Nvidia Shield Pro

Connection: ethernet

Multiple daily drops of service. Log entries of Other dos attack coincide with service drop

timestamps.

I've already been issued a new modem/router and the drops persist.

Please advise.

Changing your A&T Gateway (modem/router) will not change your AT&T Public IP address. So the DoS attack is still attacking your same public IP.

Disable ipv6 in the gateway.  Resolves the ipv6 'other dos attack' and intermittent outages.

ATT really should fix that.
