Roku 4K tv with intermittent "pixelating"

I am not adept at WiFi terms or understanding High def/4K.  I bought a Roku 4K HDR QLED television and had ATT gateway BGW320-500 installed.  My picture is not clear.  I can watch tv but every few seconds it gets a flash of color around the edges of whatever is on screen (ie.  people get a flash of a colorful outline on them).  Help me figure this out and use this equipment together.

First we need a few details about your Wi-Fi layout.

Where is your BGW320 located in relation to where your Roku TV is located? Is your BGW320 located on a flat level surface at least 36 inches above the floor and not right next to electronic devices.

It is behind the tv on the same shelf.  Yes to the rest of the questions.

If it's that close, could you run an Ethernet cable from the TV to a yellow LAN port on the BGW320?

Without question a wired connection is the way to go.

Ethernet cable is connected from box to tv.

What App/Service are you watching on your Roku TV?

All of the apps I have tried have this problem.

Try a service that allows you to download the movie and see if the downloaded movie does the same thing.

I will try.
