Slow speeds on new AT&T Fiber

So I seemed to have fixed the issue for now. When searching for a solution on the slow speed prior to my original post, a forum post suggested I change the Wired Ethernet Switch mode from Auto-Detect to 100BaseT/Full-Duplex for all Ethernet ports. But every speed test I did from multiple websites on different devices kept capping at 75-80 Mbps. Even a hardwired connection from my laptop to the Gateway showed 80 Mbps. So I changed it back to Auto-Detect and the Gateway rebooted. I'm now seeing the faster speeds promised both wired to the Gateway and on WiFi. 

After I did the reboot, the Data light on the Fiber ONT box changed from green to pulsating Orange. Anyone know if this is an issue? I've contacted AT&T to see if this is a problem and will update. 

UPDATE:

After a couple of hours, the speed has gone back down to 30-75 Mbps Download and 35-80 Mbps Upload over WiFi. A wired Ethernet connection to the Gateway gets over 800 Mbps on Both. I feel like it has something to do with the Ethernet connection from the Gateway to the Linksys. I have a Cat6 cable connected between them, but I think the Gateway might be having issues with the Auto-Negotiation. I'm still waiting to get a reply from AT&T about this issue.

Can you hard wire a computer directly in to the back of our router bypassing any 3rd party routers and test for us? AT&T Community Specialist

Wired directly to the AT&T Gateway I get around 700 Mbps Down and 800 Mbps Down. 

We can get get a tech out on this. What date and time frame 8:30 am - 12:30 pm, 1 pm - 4 pm or 4 pm - 8 pm is good for you? AT&T Community Specialist

Turn off the anti-virus/security gateway software that is likely throttling your speed. Do this initially for testing; afterwards, maybe you can re-enable it and white-list the connection? If it can't white-list, keep it off and find an alternative that won't affect your bandwidth throughput. After disabling (and assuming you even have an anti-virus), you should see ~940Mbps/940Mbps speed.

I do not have any Anti-Virus software running (I've been testing my speeds on a 2009 MacBook Pro, 2015 MacBook and iPhone 7 Plus). BUT, after a few days of leaving my set-up alone, the speeds on my 5GHZ WiFi coming from my Linksys router seems to have improved. I've been getting 300 Mbps Down and 200 Mbps Up. It has been pretty consistent. It will sometimes dip into 100-150 Mbps Down range, but will eventually go back up. The ONT Data light is still pulsating Orange, and I still don't know if that is an issue. 

@kpmont1234 the ont data light color shows what kind of speed profile you are set to. green is anything under 100. should be orange 100 or higher. perhaps the ONT port on the RG setting was changed to 100mb which caused the green light.
