terrible internet service

I switched to AT&T internet a month ago. I regret it. On Saturday morning, their internet went down, and they said there was an outage in the area. It's been two days, and they haven't fixed it. They told me I should use a mobile hotspot and upgrade my cell phone service to cover the extra use. Wow, they are using their lack of repair abilities as a marketing tool! If you call AT&T, you're on hold forever; when you finally speak to someone, they simply say they're working on it. I'm on the third day without internet and they now say it should be restored within 24 hours, though they've said that before. The moral of this service is that AT&T is terrible, stay away from them and switch to another provider the first chance you get.

Why did you switch to AT&T Fiber in the first place if your Internet provider was so much better?

If you call AT&T, you're on hold forever; when you finally speak to someone, they simply say they're working on it. 

That's why there is an outage web page to check: https://www.att.com/outages the phone reps don't have outage details for your individual address.
