Anti-Virus for AT&T Fiber?

We recommend that you try optimizing your internet connection, this will help boost your internet connection.

There can be several reasons why you can connect to the WiFi but still not have any internet connection.  We have some suggestions that should get you back up and running: 

We recommend restarting the Wi-Fi gateway you can fix many common internet issues by restarting your modem, Wi-Fi® gateway or All-Fi Hub. Here’s how:

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of your device. If you have:   
   • An internal battery backup, remove it.
   • DSL service, unplug your telephone cord from your modem or gateway.
2. Wait 20 seconds.
3. Put the internal battery back in, if applicable.
4. Plug the power cord back in. If you have DSL service, reconnect the telephone cord.
5. Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or hub to restart.

AT&T AntiVirus Plus powered by McAfee is an antivirus program for your computer. It helps protect it from malware, trojans, and hackers. It also has computer health checks, spyware blocking and removal, and more.

You can install AT&T AntiVirus Plus on up to four computers, either Windows®, Mac®, or both. If you’re using a Windows computer, we suggest doing a pre-installation cleanup.

If you have:

• AT&T Internet or DSL with a connection speed of 3Mbps or higher, you can download AT&T AntiVirus Plus free of charge.
• DSL with a connection speed of 1.5Mbps or lower, you can sign up for a discounted subscription of $5 per month.

FYI: The download process will let you know if you have AT&T Internet or DSL and prompt you with the appropriate options for your service type.

Help, I'm having the same problem but it's not a connection issue as I can log into my MyATT account, browse the internet, etc.   When I hit the link to download the AT&T Anti-Virus Plus software from the screen below, it doesn't recognize my password?  When I log into MyATT account first, search for it within the MyATT app, I get the same download instructions but this time the link returns the Somethings gone wrong Error.   Again, this is not a connection issue and I'm connected to wifi with an excellent connection.   Which ATT account is this looking for?  I'm an AT&T fiber and wireless customer.
