ATT Fiber every subdivision around me, but not this one
None of our residents at Fossil Creek at Westridge in Mckinney, Texas have ATT Fiber. Residents have between 50-75 mbps DSL lines. The Prestwyck neighborhood directly on the other side of Independence has fiber available to all residents. Both neighborhoods were built in 2017. What is wrong with our neighborhood that ATT has decided to install 5gbps internet within view of us and leaves us with 50mbps for the same price. Do I need to get the city government involved to get this done?

If addresses are 50 and 75 for internet means the VRAD and cross box are within 1000 to 1800 feet of the internet 75 address.
Is it possible the street and utilities were installed earlier than 2017 thus the neighborhood would have received the service ATT was offering at the time.
FTTP started in 2016 while FTTN was deployed 2006 to 2015. The company may have used the inventory on hand if your development was started in 2016 or if streets were placed in 2015 with delayed construction of homes then FTTN would have been the service deployed.
You can check the local government for when permits were applied for, but the city cannot dictate what service to be installed only approve or deny what was applied for.
