ATT Fiber New Construction...

Hello, I recently purchased a new construction home in a community that I can confirm has ATT fiber, however when I search up my address in the att database it shows that it is not available even though I know that it is, I also did this to other homes built in my community and they all also say that no internet is available. How can I validate that att fiber is available at my address, I have trouble calling people right now and want to do it online. One more thing, on my street in my new community not a single home has availability to fiber, the whole community doesn't have fiber available even though it I can confirm it is available, it is an error in the system that it says that it is not available.

The deployment process might not yet be completed….

fiber from central office to PFP, has the PFP been placed, spitters installed / activated.
fiber deployed from PFP to designate addresses, fiber terminals placed, fiber splicing completed.

The size of deployment from 60 to 800 addresses will effect the activation date for ordering as the PFP will not be turned on till all addresses are wired, the more receiving the service the longer will take.

pics of the PFP and pedestals/ hand holes placed?

There are still global supply chain issues and labor shortages in many industries that can delay service being ready for ordering. I have seen 3 to 6 month delays… but eventually service does happen. In the meantime consider your other ISP options availability from local cable, cellular hotspots, FWA and WISPs along with satellite internet.

Hello @kumarchino,

Thank you for reaching out to us! Let’s shed some light on your concern and get the help you need!

There can be multiple reasons why Fiber isn't available yet, such as the following:

  1. Distance – AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you are too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available. This means your neighbor may have service, but your home cannot.
  2. Equipment is not available – To get service, AT&T Internet equipment has to be in the area. In some instances, it isn't. We do not have information if or when it will be.
  3. The area is not built for U-verse – some areas are not U-verse ready. The Community team does not have information if or when it will be. Distance and equipment can play a key in instances like this.
  4. Another competitor services their area - This happens from time to time but it does not mean all services are not available to you. Check out other internet options below!

We are still in the process of expanding the network to provide the most coverage to our customers. You can access our Coverage Map where you can check availability at your address. Otherwise, if you’d like to check if service is available to you now or to sign up for a notification if it does become available in the future, please visit http://sm.att.com/662658bc. We will send you a notification via your preferred method as soon as AT&T Fiber becomes available to you.

We hope this information is helpful and thanks for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums!

I don't have pics to manholes or pedestals but they have been completelly placed, actually my home was showing att fiber available up to one gig plan but it changed and now says only att internet air is available. I found out that this issue was happening to another address in the community outside mines. @my thoughts
