fiber availability

How do you check availability if the crappy att.com web site won't take the address no matter the format??

Try other addresses, ideally on the same street... has the street name changed?

Another suggestion would be to try entering your address in the USPS.COM ZIP code lookup tool and trying it in AT&T's system exactly as the USPS sanitizes it.  Does your street have any modifiers like "South Main St", "Russell St NE", etc.?  Do you live in an apartment or duplex and are trying to enter the apartment number as part of the street number?

No the street hasn't chg'd names and it's a very simple address no South/North/East/West, no Apt/Unit....  The field just says, "Address" with a big field next to it versus fields for street, city, state and zip and there are no directions for the format of the address.  # street, city, state, zip?  I've tried that.  It's just more AT&T frustrations

I just tried to check for Fiber availability and it went through and the answer was, "

Good news! AT&T Internet Air™ is available at:

and I don't want Internet Air AND, that's not what I asked for.  I was checking for Fiber availability so why are they telling me Internet Air is available?? Now you know why I'm switching to Spectrum!!!

You're checking AT&T for fiber availability and if they're telling you AIA is available, they're also telling you that Fiber is not.  There's your answer.  I hope you enjoy your service at your new provider.

Thanks JefferMC, I guess that's up to me to figure that out.  It would make far too much sense for them to note that.  Yep, I'm a very dissatisfied AT&T customer.  Sorry for all the negativity.  I'm over them.

ATT AIR is FIBER to the cell tower with expectations that 25% of footprint or 15+ million addresses will have this option by end 2025 while 50% or 30+ million addresses will have direct fiber FTTP. The remaining 25% will have same options they have had since December 2015 at completion of Uverse build out occurring from 2006 to end 2015.
