Fiber installed to outside box and also inside but web site says not available

My condo community had fiber installed throughout. It was installed to the outside of my unit. On 12/28/2024 a technician came and installed it to the inside of my unit. Neighbors in my building have been able to obtain fiber service, but the web site still says not available for my unit.

I've attached photos to show the install.

When I call ATT sales they say it shows not available. How do I get the fiber service?

Hello @tjtobin66! Thank you for reaching out to us! We are happy to see your interest with AT&T Fiber Internet. We're here to provide you the information on when Fiber will be available.

We recommend that you check for AT&T Fiber availability by entering your address. If it's shows as available, you can place order online or call our team at  866.465.3099.

Please note there can be multiple reasons why Fiber isn't available yet such as the following:

  1. Distance – AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you are too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available. This means your neighbor may have service but your home cannot.
  2. Equipment is not available – To get service, AT&T Internet equipment has to be in the area. In some instances, it isn't. As above, this could mean a neighbor may have it but service was not expanded to your home. We do not have information if or when it will be. If you have 1 Gig Fiber and want to upgrade to 5 Gig, please be patient with us we work to expand that footprint.
  3. The area is not built for AT&T Internet/ Fiber – some areas are not internet ready. The Community team does not have information if or when it will be since installation is factor dependent as mentioned at the top of the page. Distance and equipment can also play a factor in instances like this.
  4. Another competitor services the area - This happens from time to time but it does not mean all services are not available to you. Check out other internet options below!
  5. For some internet services, what is offered during the point of sale is an estimate. Most of the time, what is offered will be installed. To determine if service is available, our techs will perform tests beforehand and let you know of any issues.

Hey! I had this exact same issue. So, what I did was play with my address a little. My address includes a NW at the end of the street. There is no address with the beginning part in my zip code. Ill give an example. lets say the address is 123 anywhere lane NW. AT&T says they don't have fiber there. But, if 123 anywhere lane doesn't exist in your zip code, try putting that in and see what AT&T says then. It worked for me and now I have super fast fiber internet for a fraction of what I was paying a crappy cable company.
