Fiber not available

Our neighbors on both sides, as well as behind us have ATT internet. The line runs through our front yard. There is a box next to our driveway as well that says our house number on it. When we call about it, I am told there isn’t anything they can do. The trouble spot is we are a new neighborhood that is in between two towns and the address doesn’t show up. 
to get theirs activated, our neighbor approached a service tech who had to call. It still took them a while to get it figured. It doesn’t like it should be this hard to get.
