help, new house

Hello, I just moved from Illinois to Georgia, I lived in a small town and I had a very good signal, I moved to the city of Atlanta, and how is it possible that the only operator I have is ATT with one of the worst speeds since the 2000s 10mps is too slow, and for DSL, I call other operators and they tell me that only att is the only one that can operate in this area, I call att to get fiber and they say that it is not possible, here in or where can I go to be able to solve, I have not been able to work very well because of this, please help me. Thank you

Sometimes only one hard line provider services an area. There is no internet level, or internet at all, guaranteed nationwide. If internet is important then that is something to research when considering moving.

Changing to another ISP, be it hardline, some sort of wireless/hotspot, or satellite is the first option. But if there are truly no other ISPs in the area, at least ones that meet your needs, then moving is the only remaining option. That or find work that doesn't require internet at home.

There are multiple ISPs in Atlanta with Comcast Xfinity being most available at 98%, ATT IPBB or Fiber Co ers about 56% and Google Fiber is around 35%. Additionally have (3) satellite ISPs in Hughes Net, ViaSat and Starlink. Fixed Wireless from one provider and FWA from T-Mobile and Verizon.

Relocation is likely best option to area with desired service, MDUs of apartment / condo complexes contain about 25% of ATT 24 million fiber addresses within 21 states.
