Internet Modems
Hello,
My internet modem stopped working this morning. I called and the customer service person was very helpful and ordered me a new one. The problem I have is it can only be shipped (I can’t run to a store to pick it up) and won’t be here until Monday. I also can’t go out a purchase one to give me internet until Monday. You can’t only allow people to use your equipment if people then have to wait for it to be delivered. In the year 2023 people need internet daily. I personally need internet for work, and for family members to do homework. It’s extremely frustrating.

When internet is needed 24/7 due to WFH or virtual schooling you should have a redundancy service. This could be any local ISP including cable, cellular hotspot or FWA, WISP or even satellite internet.
ATT home internet is residential service more commonly known as entertainment, potential down time could be 3 to 7+ days depending on the issue. If cannot function without ATT internet for a week then need a backup plan, many can use their cell phone(s) including creating hotspot.
