Uverse Fiber boxes installed in my yard, my neighbors can get service, but I cannot?!?!?!?!?

I live in Charlotte NC. We recently had ATT Fiber installed in our community. I have two spots in my front yard dug up for this installation. Cheap grass seed was placed where the work was done, different story.

ATT has hired consultants to come out and sell the newly available services. I specifically want the internet that locks in at $50 after 12 months of service. I like the sales people a lot, very polite and well spoken nice people. My direct neighbors have had the service installed, but I still keep hearing from people at ATT and online that it is not available for my address, but it is when I plug in my neighbor on either side.

I saw an ATT tech installing service at my neighbors. She was great and informed me I am well within the allowable drop distance and I should keep trying. All I have received from ATT is a never ending run around. "Call 888 944-0447, we can't help you here", "call 800 288 2020, we can't help you here", "call 877 353-5963, we can't help you here", "call 877 722-3755, we can't help you here". When I do get someone they just submit a request i just get a generic email stating service isn't available yet for my house. Then twice I have had an ATT employee at the 877 722-3755 tell me they will call me back after they have their team look in to it.....guess who never got a call back.

I am so annoyed with this run around. If ATT can tear up my yard then I should get the offered service it was torn up for. I am a long time, over 15 years, ATT wireless customer. I am about ready to drop them and call the BBB on this mess they have left in my yard if they cannot accommodate me.

Using the envelope symbol at the top of the page, send a private message to ATTCustomerCare and ask them for assistance. They need to do an address validation and have your home put into the database for service.

Certain AT&T team members have been very helpful on getting my address accepted in to their system for Uverse connectivity. This was the first step in allowing me to sign up for the fiber optic Uverse internet service.

This process began when two gentlemen showed up at my door selling the service. I was told there was an internet service for $50 a month for the 300mpbs speed. If my account was kept in good standing then that price would lock in to lifetime price after 12 months. I asked what the total cost would be on the top of $50 and was told likely around $57, but couldn't commit to an actual number. Fair enough.

I now have the ability to sign up thanks to AT&T team members properly accepting my address, but now no one at AT&T can locate that deal. Only one like that on AT&T website is $60 and comes out to over $70 with fees. I was told to go to the local store for those deals. I located the store, drove there in my free time. They can only do the same $60 a month plan. I was then told they use a "third party for door to door sales" so they don't really know what they are saying some times. What? If a person shows up at your door (twice, different people) quoting the same identical AT&T package and they are wearing AT&T shirts why wouldn't you assume they are AT&T employees?

What a colossal waste of my time. Working with sales people, fighting to get my address properly notated, working with online sales people to sign up, having to drive to a store to sign up instead, ..........

Wow.
