When to expect Fiber in my area?
We been living in Hempstead TX for the past 12 years and currently there had been a lot of growing developments of both housing and businesses in the area, we been having DSL at 18mps for the past few years and at this point having Fiber would be amazing and I've heard that some of these businesses might already have Fiber internet so I was just curious to ask when we would be getting the chance to obtain Fiber internet, I live right next to 290 highway in Hempstead. Any clues when we will be getting att Fiber soon?.

While there is ATT fiber in the zip code, likely new greenfield construction, I would not expect ATT Fiber upgrade unless have FTTN service of internet 100, 75, 50, 25. As state have internet 18, ADSL2+, and less than 2.5 years left of 10 year fiber build out the chances for any address within 21 state footprint is about 20% or 1 in 5, I suspect your chances are slimmer than that unless willing to relocate to where the fiber is.
