ESIM on Samsung device not working, AT&T support inconclusive.

Hello,

I'd like to know how to activate an esim on a samsung s21 device.

What I've done:
Currently I had a working sim card on an S7 device, however I called at&t support, and went through their process.
They had me give the IMEI1 & IMEI2 numbers, as well as the EID number of the Samsung s21 device. After, they asked me to turn the wifi off on the s21 device, then turn the device off then on and go to the "add esim" option in my settings on the s21 device. After selecting add esim, it requested to turn on wifi to search, which I did, then it redirects to a screen "Select your service provider". If I select AT&T or any other option it notifies me with "No esims found." After attempting to use my original s7 phone to call them back, the sim card is no longer working so it is impossible for me to contact support now as I have no working phone.

In addition to this, I have looked on AT&T's website for the "Get a Replacement SIM for your device" page and followed those steps. and it took me to the AT&T switch devices page and it asked for "Your device IMEI and EID numbers". After providing the IMEI number I was told that the device is ineligible and not compatible with AT&T network.

Is it impossible to get an esim for an s21? How would one get their sim card working again now on the s7?

It sounds frustrating! To activate an eSIM on your Samsung S21:

1. Ensure your S21 is unlocked and compatible with AT&T's eSIM service.
2. Visit an AT&T store for in-person assistance.
3. Use another phone or contact AT&T through their online support for help reactivating your old SIM on the S7.

Hope this helps!
